OMYVILLE is a special place where longevity becomes a possibility rather than just a dream. There are lots of newsletters about life-extending technologies and living forever. You can find a ton of them on Google and Bing.

So, how is this newsletter different from the others?

Well, first, I’m not an aging researcher. I am a provider of information. I do not write for PhDs. I read what they write, simplify it, distill it, and provide it to my subscribers, who are ordinary people seeking a long and healthy life.

Second, I offer subscribers a strategy called PLANNED LONGEVITY™ that, when followed, gives you the information you need to live longer now by using what’s available today—no pie in the sky that will happen in 2040, or some other arbitrary date.

Third, theomys is a blog that stores and organizes newsletters on longevity so that a new subscriber can read the history of OMYISM and catch up on everything I’ve written – a virtual library of over 50 articles and hundreds of referral links.

So, what’s an OMY?

Well, an OMY is someone who plans to live a long time using my strategy of PLANNED LONGEVITY™. Simply said, this means planning to live in a healthy zone for one year at a time, year after year, as long as possible.

So OMY is shorthand for One More Year.

Being an OMY helps you stay alive and healthy so you can take advantage of technological advances in anti-aging science along your life’s journey. The longer you live in your health zone, the more technological advances you enjoy, and the longer you’ll live.

This is what I call leveraging your longevity, and living the OMYLIFE is how you do it.

OMY PLANNED LONGEVITY™ STRATEGY:

Planning your first year:

You and your primary health care provider (PHP) completely assess your current health status. After this is done, you and your PHP create a list of goals to accomplish during the coming year.

Together, you work on these goals. This might involve several meetings at first and even some meetings with specialists.

This is your most important year because it sets the year-to-year process in motion and also improves your health.

Also, you are now officially an OMY.

OMYIZATION Process:

  1. Meet with your PHP about your Planned Longevity™ strategy.
  2. Get a thorough physical workup to assess your current health status.
  3. Make a list of goals for the coming year.
  4. Track your progress.
  5. Repeat the process in one year.
The Future Years:

There are three advantages to following OMYISM’s PLANNED LONGEVITY™ strategy. Here they are:

  1. Each year, your health status will change, and you will likely have new goals. Of course, some of your goals might carry forward.
  2. This forces you to get an annual physical evaluation and helps you “catch” problems early when they are most manageable.
  3. You will develop a “Medical Expert Team” by implementing your Planned Longevity™ strategy.

All of these things are good, and you’re managing your health by staying in your OMYZONE.
